Task manager window disappears

Hi,

For a few days I am having this problem in windows XP. Some windows disappear all of a sudden. This always happens with Task Manager after just 2-3 seconds of opening it. Sometimes with Firefox, Internet Explorer and others as well. Is it caused by some virus or spyware?

You probably have an odd virus, or a simple bug in windows that can be fixed with an update. Google search "task/process manager", and you have a solution to not having the task manager.
