Tech executives are suffering from "AI psychosis," says Box CEO

Every CEO I've ever had to work with has been damaging, not beneficial, to the company. They rarely have any understanding of what people actually really do and make knee-jerk decisions based on minimal to zero planning or consideration. They seem to float from company to company being paid huge amounts to 'play boss'. Do a bit of 'rebranding' so it looks like they are doing something. Chase after the latest fads they read about in the ten minutes work they did that week. Then when everybody gets sick of their narcissistic and toxic personalities they move on. It's seems to be a character-trail required to 'run' big businesses that you be a self-centred, dumb, assh0le.

Actually, only 33% of the respondents had unqualified improvements. An increase in both revenue and expenses could be a net wash or even a net loss if the increases in cost outweighed the increases in revenue (e.g. much of the ambient AI used for medical scribing). The same applies for decreases in both revenue and expenses (e.g. poor implementations of AI-driven call centers).
