TechSpot Giveaway: 27-inch monitor, iPad, GTX 460??

i've been a loyal reader for a long time, but never registered.
And today i did and voted for that 27'' Monitor.
Lets see :)

It's the iPad for me, I think. My Sony Reader is starting to get a little long in the tooth. Though a second SSD or another monitor is always handy. Hmmm. Tough one.

Into the competition I go, voting "iPad" for my cerebro.
Being afraid to break a moment's ice, will no longer be something i exercise.
TechSpot's competition have begun, I'm looking forward for some fun.
But before I post a single line, I'll await until the morning is fine.

Sorry, all the other entry speaches bored me :)

I voted for the CPU, motherboard, and memory combo. Techspot's forums are a place where many come to exchange ideas, (sometimes heatedly), about the creation of their new computer. This prize takes much of the guesswork out of the process, yet still engages the winner's imagination. That said, hopefully the winner of this prize will be able to offer up the time and funds, to see the project to its completion.

I'd like to suggest a RETAIL copy of Windows 7 for the additional prize, as the cost of an OS never seems to be factored into the cost of a build. Since a retail copy Windows is transferable from computer to computer, this strikes me as, "the gift that keeps on giving".

Choices I ruled out:

27" monitor; (not unless it's IPS)

iPad; (That's a spare me for sure). Although, it would make a great coaster for oversize beer steins.....

A new CPU/mobo/memory combo would definitely help me contribute to solving the problems of world hunger and computer illiteracy.
Wouldn't becoming a contestant in the, "Miss America Pageant" accomplish the same thing? Now wave from the back of the convertible

Oh look, it's the story of "Goldilocks and the Three Macs;
voted for ipad because is the light version of a macbook in a large version of an iphone
"This Mac is too big, this Mac is too small, this Mac is just right"!

Love TeChSpOt.CoM... i chose the mobo/cpu/ram cause i need a 64bit upgrade so bad. Still running 32bit and starting to notice i need to upgrade now..LOL

The choices are a dream for every tech head. Who does not want a new monitor, cpu/mobo/ram or even one of the latest gadgets like an iPad. For convenience and portability I would choose an iPad. Connectivity with the extra functionality a netbook is handy.

Thanks for the options you give us

It was a tough choice between the SSD and the monitor, but I chose the SSD, as I am in a craze for SSD technology ever since installing one in my laptop.
