TechSpot Giveaway: 27-inch monitor, iPad, GTX 460??

cpu/mobo/mem combo would be ideal for a broke med student. i'm still running an Asus A8N-SLI Premium/Athlon 64 X2 2.2GHz/2GB Corsair PC3200 from my freshman year of undergrad. many thanks TS!

I voted for the ipad because its one of those devices for me that I wouldn't mind having but can't justify the costs for it. It was hard to choose between the ipad and SSD but I had to think about family and being able to share the ipad with my wife versus replacing the HD on my work laptop.

Voted for the SSD - the lack of mechanical parts and general increase in performance over rotating media are big benefits. Also, I recently experienced a mechanical failure on one of my old storage drives, and it looks like I'm not going to be able to recover the data because it's too expensive... So I'm really looking forward to SSD's becoming the norm.

Also, I could make awesome Star Wars references again... the last time I was able to do that was when I had an IBM Death Star in my box!

I voted for the budget netbook/laptop... I'm entering college next year and it would be amazing to have a basic laptop to take notes with and whatnot. I was really torn, because a GTX 460 could go towards a future system, as could a 128 GB SSD, but I think the laptop is probably the most practical choice for me.

Just as I voted for the GTX 460 it dawned on me that the monitor would be much better! Ohwells it's mostly win/win, it's really hard to decide for any one of these as it is.

I chose the Apple iPad. It'd be nice to have one to have an e-reader and powerful mobile web browser at the same time. :)

I'll get in on this one.

I voted on the Ipad because I figured I would never actually buy one, but winning one would be pretty nifty. It would be a lot of fun to mess around with.

or I could sell it and buy a new netbook...hmm....

A mobo/cpu/memory combo can be quite valuable, obviously depending on quality, and is a large portion of complete PC...you know how I voted!

I like the SSD..but any of the stuff is good as I'm only part time employed right now and need some upgrades. :D TechSpot rocks... been a fan basically since 3dspotlight started.

As gimmicky as it may seem, I would prefer an iPad merely to experience the pure joy of browsing the Internet via a touch-screen. Also, coding in bed and outside of my apartment would be nice. :D

It seems the deluxe computer case is currently the least preferred. Specifically, which types of cases are implied?

Those people who are commenting on the "guest" user might want to actually sign up otherwise how will the Techspot people know who you are if you win (think about it)

Many sensations mixed, the reason, the needs, the desire...
Well, actually, it all I want, and I guess as everyone, want is everything.
But well, 27 inch is what I need the most, and I want more than I need of course.
