The GeForce 7800 GT-based videocard is such a prize could not even think of a replacement for it. Though went to check newegg.com out and found a nifty AOC LM942 Black 19" 12ms LCD Monitor - Retail 242.00. Within the 275.00 trade-off value. Still the video card is the prize and what a prize it is.

I think that Nvidia could probably afford it, these graphics cards are way to expensive for the average user to afford.
It seems like the game manufactures are in bed with the hardware manufactures as it seems that every new game released requires a major hardware upgrade and consumers just can't keep up

OMG YES, i remember the day when i got ghost recon and my computer COULD run it ok. now if i got the newest game out today my 6600GT which cost me an arm and a leg would be way to slow to handle it. when ghost recon came out i had a TNT2M64 PCI btw $115 at the time.
