The Sims - component transfer error

I installed The Sims Deluxe Edition. It worked. I uninstalled it to put it on a different computer, it was a Mac so I realized it won't work. I tried to install it again, but it said "component transfer error" at 95% I cleaned both CDs, but it still said the same. I used both CDs. I asked every one, so I decided to turn to you guys!!!

Hardware error. Possibly you have a memory problem or a cd reading problem, or a disc is scratched. But the error is caused by the conflict of shared InstallShield files. You can Install the fix for the InstallShield engine, by searching for and downloading and installing the ComponentTransferError fix...

But this is really a software error from the company who made or released the software. Contact them for the fix as well.
