We get it now, nothing anyone says will matter, because you are average player. Thus, no game YOU play will suffer from GFE, because you are not capable of wagers or fast-paced gameplay, or noticing hitching.

Secondly, It seems you do not even know what GFE is/does... that is why you sound so unreflective.. Think about this, if you don't need software running in the background at all... but you run it anyways, will your system speed up..?

Lastly, if you are not using nVidia filters, then why are you even using GFE? .. Oh, you already answered it, you like the newbie interface and easy set up.

The 22H2 update has reinstalled Edge on a computer that was running fine without it for over a year. It has made reinstall persistent now so that you can't remove Edge.
Looking for ways to take that dang program back off my computer. I want to control the software not some lame browser doing it for me.
Also cannot resize windows on the desktop any more.
Looking forward to the next set of KB fixes, hopefully coming soon.

You are incorrect, I removed Edge from 22H2

Whether this is Microsoft's fault or NVidia's may depend on your hardware

The newest NVidia driver works perfectly in Windows 10 on a Sandy Bridge
The same driver in Windows 11 22H2 locks freezes the computer, or goes to a black screen, or prevents assets from loading in GTA5

On "THIS" hardware, the problem is "MICROSOFT" / not NVidia

I cannot play for more than 60 second without problems in Windows 11, but I can play all day in Windows 10 using the same driver

No amount of re-installs or tweaks will fix 22H2 for gaming
