I guess it looks good for a PS5 game.

Doesn't look like they are using RT at all if only in a few reflections like water and glass.

It's the gameplay that counts, and it's not like I can play on my PC anyway, at least, not yet.

Or maybe not. Since it's been so long since I played Rockstar games. At least those that had it.

The game looks stunning and some of the details are truly impressive, but I just can't do 30 fps anymore. If it's really that demanding visually, I can settle for 60 fps, but 90 to 120 fps is the sweet spot. Anyway, I'll hold off for the PC release to see what I can get out of it.

If they had released it on disc, I’d probably pick it up since I have a PS5, instead, I’ll wait for the PC version when it’s on sale.

I don't understand the hype. People expect this to be the second coming of Jesus, it's likely going to be a very good game, but it's still a GTA game. Ofcourse it's gonna be similar to GTA V, like V is similar to IV, like IV is similar to SA and SA is similar to VC etc...It's the same ****ing franchise. Be happy it's not Ubisoft where you can't even tell the difference between different versions of Far Cry and Assassin's Creed. Like, what do people expect from this game that is so crucial?

Given the comments about how they wanted to tone down the writing to be more PC and the utter lack of single player DLC, plus the absolutely insane pricing shenanigans, I'm not impressed enough to buy.

What are you missing exactly?

The improvements are there, it's just your human eyes that can't really tell anymore, unless zooming in.

I'm no GTA fan but if you watched those 26 minutes and didn't see that the game was clearly twice as layered and detailed as any other game that has ever been made. You are confusing surface level graphics with systemic depth, if you don't understand it that's fine, but then maybe best not to comment?

The map size barely interests me compared with the police system. Having to change clothes, ditch a recognized car, avoid witnesses, and actually plan an escape sounds like a much bigger evolution for GTA.

Thing is, I'm stuck playing it on these crappy consoles while my beat Computer has to wait for "the real version" of GTA6.
