Troj_agent.scd?

Trend micro tells me i have a malware named TROJ_AGENT.SCD
Infections of this malware are given as:

C:\Sys.exe
C:\WINDOWS\Web\Sys.exe
D:\Sys.exe
E:\Sys.exe
F:\Sys.exe

However Trendmicro's online scanner is unable to remove them...and when i try to remove them manually (the only visible file is the second one) it says "access denied"

Besides, will deleting these files remove the infection completely? The infection has disabled my Task Manager, regedit, Folder Options etc.


Please help....

Your system is infected with malware.

Very Important: Before deciding whether you should clean or reformat your system, go and read this thread HERE and decide what it is you want to do.

If after reading the above, you wish to clean your system, do the following.

Go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT, AVG Antispyware and Combofix logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.

Also, let me know the results of the AVG Antirootkit scan.
