Trying to have duplicate displays, but after I press 'APPLY' in settings, main display goes to 'OUT

Hi,

I am trying to have duplicate displays, one on my main computer, one on my TV. I have Windows 10 with a NVIDA GeForce GTX 760 graphics card. Unfortunately both my TV and monitors are old. The Monitor has a VGA connector, so I used a DVI-I to VGA connector. My TV has only RCA (red, white and yellow). I have a HDMI to RCA converter.

The setting allows me to 'Extend These Displays', but when I enter 'Duplicate These Displays, the TV works, but the monitor shows 'OUT OF RANGE"

Could anyone please advise my how to rectify this please, thanks.

'Out of range' used to mean the vertical frequency of the signal was not supported. I suppose it could also mean the resolution is not supported. See if changing either of those two settings will help, but the chances are when you 'duplicate display' then both devices will assume the same setting, yet for a TV and a monitor they are unlikely to both look the same. One may have black borders, on top or sides.
