Uninstall program?

What's a good program to use to uninstall other programs? I've used Vista's standard one, it sucked. I'm using Absolute Uninstaller, it sucks.

Can anyone think of a free uninstall program that actually uninstalls the program? I don't want to find a shortcut to a program that I uninstalled three months ago

If CCleaner works with Vista that would be a good choice. I have found under XP that CCleaner's uninstaller that is under the tool section of this utility to be better than Windows Add/Remove.

The best program to uninstall a program is:

First, use the uninstaller for the program itself if it has one.
Second, if it does not have it's own uninstller, it should be uninstalled in Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
Third, always do a search in the system for any 'left over' files.
Forth, if files still remain, use the Windows Installed Cleanup Utility to remove them:
