Although the i7-4790 is still a good cpu, it's definitely not worth $350 US.

Imo in this case it's the best we can do with our budget. And as much as I love the ryzen series in this case there is no better option considering the cost's of new platform while moving from I3 to I7 will just be as good as good as moving to am4 platform if not better while costing less.

Voted for Bezoar because I thought upgrading the CPU on an older platform was an interesting and efficient choice. Probably should have gone that direction with the Z170 based machine in the running as well.
