Upgrading a motherboard + CPU

Hello,
I am would like to upgrade my motherboard from a Intel P45 to a Intel P55 chipset and then later the CPU
but because i will upgrade one and then the other is where my concern arises: will my Intel Dual Core E2200 work on the P55 mobo chipset?

and also, can you suggest a good P55 motherboard?
i heard that the ASUS P7P55D-E is alright, but i have an Asus mobo now and it caused me some trouble in the past
my budget is anything around £100

and also, should i buy the Intel i3, or wait a bit for the i5 to become cheaper and buy that?

Your Intel Dual Core E2200 will not work on the P55 mobo chipset. You will have to upgrade your cpu and motherboard at the same time. Since you have to wait to save up money i would just wait until the Intel p67 is release, sometime in January or February 2011, and see what you can get for your money then.
