Hey I need @Endymio to show up and tell me how this is all Trump Derangement Syndrome and we got this one in the bag, 4-6 weeks tops. Iran definitely is not digging out its nuclear material and all is well with the oil & gas market.

Biden wasn't lame, he was a smart guy although he did not do great at the end of his term. What he did for the US and the world was so much better that what the corrupt rapist* in the current WH is doing.

Biden got hung out to dry over inflation, even though none of it was his fault.

One story I read was that for whatever reason, it was difficult if not impossible to shut down the oil drilling rigs/pumps. The net result of this was that the oil being pumped had no place to go because of the lock down. So, it had to be practically given away.

So, when the lock down was lifted, those in the production business weren't about to suffer all the losses they encountered during the shutdown. Hence, prices skyrocketed. Who else but a blundering imbeci!e, could help but blame it on Biden, instead of those in the business back end where it squarely belonged.

The deep rooted lack of education in the general public, particularly in the "red states", were, and still are, incapable of even coming to a rudimentary understanding of trumpy-poohs blatant symptoms of severe mental illness.

So here we now boyz and gurlz, up Schitt's Creek without a competent leader.

I suppose you’re going to say North Korea is just short of a change of heart as well?

I have friends/colleagues that fled Iran who told me of their hope for a better Iran, based on what they were hearing from contacts back in Iran. On how things were becoming less crazy totalitarian, but now...

- Honestly I liked him. I didn't agree with him, but he wasn't an ***** and put the work in to back up his position with sources. A good sparing partner to help refine and add nuance to my own perspective.

Unfortunately it seems he was drafted and sent to the Russian front in Ukraine or something...

Be real. Trump is much farther behind what Obama had negotiated with Iran. Why? Because Trump's ego thinks he wins at everything rather than what he really does, enshittify everything he touches.

Trump was played and now the US is in one of those forever wars that Trump said he would never start and has claimed, since he started it, that it will be over any day now.

If anyone is going to claim that North Korea is just short of a change of heart, I expect that will be Trump.

It appears the key difference here is you may be convinced that Iran was actually playing by the rules in these “negotiations” - even under Obama.

Reality would state instead, that it’s historically and statistically (almost, just almost) impossible that Iran was being honest in those negotiations.

You can choose to be the optimist, but I’ll take the last 40 years of extremist-controlled authoritarian genocidal behavior and go the other direction instead.
