USB Peripheral Question - Wireless?

Hi, All - looking for some information/advice.

My daughter bought me a nice Wacom tablet for Christmas, but I haven't been able to use it, because my setup is entirely wireless, due to the location of my desk and my PC.

I was wondering: is there any way to obtain a wireless solution for a peripheral that's wired?

In other words, to have a wireless transmitter that you can plug your USB device into and have a receiver that plugs into your PC?

My searches have not turned up anything current. I've seen a device that does something similar, but it wasn't quite what I'm looking for (this was to plug a USB drive into a hub that makes the drive part of the network, which isn't my goal).

Any gurus out there who could help me find what I'm seeking?

Any information at all would be helpful, sinnce I've got nothing thus far.

Thanks, in advance!

Pax, harmonia,

Brian

The Wacom tablet always attaches directly to the system. If you can SEE the system from the desk, then you can get a long enough USB cable for the Wacom.
