I have a problem with my monitor and am seeing if I can get help here rather than having to hire a tech guy to fix it.
I have an IBM Thinkpad with Vista on it and have hooked the laptop up to a tv with a VGA cable. The dual monitors work fine.
However, today i was fooling around with the display / dual monitor settings. and now whenever I unplug the vga cable, the screen on my laptop will go black. If i plug it back it it will show up again. It seems i can only use the screen if its hooked up to my tv.
Please help! I hope this doesnt sound like a noobie problem.
