VGA to HDMI

My other laptop is a Lenovo ThinkPad, it has VGA output, my TV has ONLY HDMI. I have a spare HDMI & VGA cord, any way to splice them together to hook my Lenovo to my TV? TIA

Just remember, a VGA source, even through a converter, will only provide the video and no audio will be provided to the TV.

Ok, thanks, makes sense now that I think about it. Monitor is video only
