Video card?

Hi i have a dell dimension e510 desktop pc with
a x600 256 hypermemory radeon video card.I have found
and a firmware upgrade for this to go from 256 of memory to
512.Is there any benefits in doing this at all?
Would it help in 3d gaming at all?
Also if you were to upgrade this card for 3d gaming
what would be my best choice for the money?

No the memory upgrade wouldn't give you any gain in game play. What type of video connector is on the motherboard? AGP, PCIe?
