I'm considering producing a virtual museum and wondered what the best software was to use. It will only have about 50 articles but I want the web page to feel like a museum rather than just another web page. I've looked at Wiki pages but I'd prefer something more graphic orientated. I've also looked a wordpress and google slides but I'm not sure whether collaboration is allowed and how pretty the end results are. I'll be putting the end result on it's own web site so this also needs to be possible. I'm technically fairly strong (Unix, PHP, HTML, databases etc) but I suspect all this has all be done before and, if I built my own tool, then I'd just be redesigning the wheel. Cost is also a factor as it's coming out of my pocket.
