Inactive Viruses on Windows Vista PC

Hi Broni,

I looked at this link but I only have the OEM disk. According to the notes this means I can't attempt the repair installation.

I am now able to use my PC, much more than I could before we started all this work, and I am very grateful to you for all your help in getting to this stage. I think I will just need to save my pennies and get an OS upgrade as soon as poss.

Thanks Broni,

I've bought some writable DVDs and will give this a go now. I do have the original OEM discs as well - when I tried to reformat the whole thing (before I started my conversations with you), I couldn't get it to work because the key I had seemed to be too short.
