Want more compatible graphics card

So currently I'm running an amd FX 8350 and a Nvidia gtx 760 graphics card. I had no idea what I was doing when I built my pc just knew Nvidia was good and amd graphics were cheaper. Now I want to get a better graphics card for my processor. I've looked into it a little and still don't think I understand or know anything about amd. Could someone please recomend a good gaphics card and help me understand a little more plz

1. I am assuming that you play games on this computer, so: What games are you playing (or) plan on playing?
2. What resolution is your monitor / television?
3. What is your budget for this new graphics card (How much are you willing to spend)?
4. What is the make and model of your motherboard (to ensure compatibility)?
5. What is the make and model of your power supply (to ensure you have enough wattage to cover the new graphics card)?
