Want To Reinstall Windows Xp

Can someone please help??? When I go to start my PC I get the following:

Safe Mode
Safe Mode with Networking
Safe Mode with command prompt
Last known good configuration..........
Start windows normally

When I choose any of the Safe Mode options I receive multiple lines of the following:

Multi(0)Disk(0)Rdisk(0)Partitions(1)\Windows\...................

Then it returns back to the original 5 options mentioned earlier.

When I choose Last Know Good Config or Start Windows normally, it immediately return back and asks me the same 5 original questions again.

I was told the only fix-it for this problem is to reinstall XP but I cant even get a command prompt to do that, can someone help, please!

You need to boot from your windows cd.

You may need to change your boot order in your bios to do that.

I think I mentioned this to you in an earlier conversation, I cannot get to my bios either, so now what?

You need to use your windows cd that has your OS on. This will boot up, you should be able to F8 to the start up to get it up, I think

I just did that.Put your Windows disc in an cdrom drive.
Restart and use F8 for the option to boot from this drive.
Folloe the prompts.
This should start the formating and installing.
