What can I do to fix Blu-Ray video lag?

Which program are you using to play Blue Ray movies? Are these just files, or are you playing them off disk. Also what resolution is your monitor at currently.

So far I've only used Windows Media Player 11 and Media Player Classic to play Blu-Ray movies; and they are files that I have downloaded.

My monitor's resolution is currently at 1680 by 1050 pixels.

You need to buy a proper player for blue ray, cant just go illegally downloaded movies and expect them to play, lol.

Really? they play though, just very slowly.. and stutters a lot.
