What should be my next Anti Virus?

I agree with Rage, Avast! is the best, the only problem I have with it ( last time I used it ) was there wasn't a status bar on the scans... So I didn't know if it was almost completed or barley started :haha:

The live protection from Avast! is very good, once you connect to a specific website that hosts viruses it disconnects from the net automatically so it can't affect you... It saved me like 56000 times :D

AVG Anti-Spyware and the new Ad-Aware are excellent for spyware and adware removal. For a paid anti-virus, NOD32 is my repeated recommendation. Very small footprint and quick at scans etc. Also, updates are very small and it detects and removes viruses and trojans very fast.

I had Kaspersky it was awesome the first time, then 2 weeks after the trial expired I downloaded it again and I had the trial again =). Don't know how that worked.
well... i remember installing a software [forgot the name of it tho] it was version 4.
it expired so i downloaded the software again but this time it was version 5.
i preferred version 4 so i removed version 5 and installed version 4 again. but this time it didnt say my trial period expired.
somehow version 5 erased all traces of the older versions of the software including the time-limit.
STUPID bug of theirs allowed me to use the software for unlimited days.
[i hope anyone understood what i was wanting to say :p ]

Nod32 was pretty good, but I didn't really know how to remove viruses on it.
yeah... NOD32 has to be set-up manually.
so... NOD32 works best if you know how to use the computer like a pro.
.
besides NOD32 is good in scanning streamed data. do other AV scan streams on NTFS as well as NOD32?

I would recommend either F-Secure Internet Security or Kaspersky. Depending on your internet activities, I think AVG free is OK if all you are doing is basic browsinig and emails, but any more than that I would pay for better cover - especially if you are downloading music.
