What should my next PC upgrade be?

Going to a GTX 1060 6GB from a GTX 1050 doesn't make much sense. I see that as a waste of money.

You should really tell us what you use your PC for. what aspect of your computer do you want to improve. Also list out all your PC parts. Going off your list if you don't have an SSD as your OS drive that would help in almost every aspect besides gaming.

GTX 1050 only 2GB doesn't it? I also think that GTX 1060 6GB has overall more performance perks, but of course the cost would sting a bit.

I agree, we need more info on what you are doing with the computer. And your budget.

Going from a 1050 to a 1060 6gb is a rather decent bump. http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-1060-6GB-vs-Nvidia-GTX-1050/3639vs3650 is an example. This of course is all dependent on budget.
