What's going on/keyboard

I have a Fujitsu Lifebook N Series Laptop which is having the same problem as my Toshiba Satellite laptop.

The problem is that when typing, the cursor changes position and I need to check the spelling first before sending off an email or entering data.

I've been told that I was dragging my hand or fingers across the mouse pad.

I am a single finger typist (meaning that I type one finger at a time). Not the fastest in the world.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

2 laptops have the same problem? It really sounds like personal typing habits... I don't know if there is a way to change the sensivity of the mouse/keyboard but you may be able to click on the touchpad icon on the taskbar, and see any settings from there
