What's your favorite messenger and why?

Recently I've noticed that many people prefer to use secured messengers for safe communication. I think it's because everyone wants to get more privacy since we have all our data really not secured nowadays. What do you think? Is it possible to secure data using encrypted messengers?

If you want to use a good encrypted messenger you have to choose those which are end-to-end encrypted as even developers will have no access to your messages and other personal data.
But don't choose Telegram as it uses end-to-end encryption in secret chats only which are not available for everyone.

I heard that it's not secured enough. It's quite disappointing for this messenger as it has a really great UI.
