Which computer I should buy? Is an iPad good enough for me?

hello everyone...
some people must know im having problem with my vaio again...
so, if i cant fix my camera now i have to think about another one..
i would like to get some sugestions here..
i would like to change for an apple
im thinking about the 11 inches macbiik air
somebody know if it is a good computer
if its resistent?
im tired of get my computers broken
im most want a computer for video chat
so, maybe an ipad would be enough for me?
what do u people sugest?
ps: im really tired of windows
is the apple OS really more steady?
any sugest is welcome

Windows 8 tablets are coming out this year.. Might want to wait.. Tablets if you got to find a need for them. They won't replace your laptop or desktop. They're extension to them.

I agree with the Tipster.
If you are already familiar with a Windows Install, you will have a temporary set-back switching to an Apple install.
See if you can find a situation where you can try-out an Apple boot, and run it for a while.
Apple is not for everybody. If you are already familiar with Apple, then you already know what feels best for you, and what works well for you.
Tell us a bit more detail about what you currently have.
How old is your Sony VAIO and what sort of problems are you having with it? Perhaps somebody on this forum can help you get things working properly.l.
