Which port for cooling hose to CPU?

Using a Swiftec CPU water-cooled connection.

QUESTION: Does it matter which side the hose from the pump is connected to on the CPU?

DETAILS:

Looking directly at he tube fittings that sits on the CPU, does it matter if the tubing from pump OUT goes on the left or the right fitting I.e., is there a definitive In and Out flow of any of the Swiftec coolers?

Thanks - sorry for large image - no control over size.

I suggest going to http://www.swiftech.com/Installation-Guides.aspx and look up your model number and download the installation instructions. If that doesn't help, contact them. And yes, input and output is critical.

Thanks Delrey for your time. I checked the link you gave. They did NOT mark/stamp any of the coolers I have so I went through every PDF they have looking for similar models. Only one CPU showed direction, all the others, and Gpu are missing flow direction.
I have also tried to contact them and got the same link you gave, even after I explained they don't list my items.
I was hoping someone here had been through this and knew the proper connection for in/out flow on CPU/GPU and radiator. I could not find in/out on any of the radiator schematics/instructions either.

This project is a re-build with new hose and clamps on a Rampage II card as a prelude to a total new Rampage IV purchase/build (now it's a maybe). It has nearly done me in :)

I took pictures of all connections and made the exact same ones. I fear that the tech(?) that put it together for me, leaving a very slow leak that fortunately that hit the top of the 1200w PWR is why there was so many freezes, pauses and fans powering up to max all the time.

Thanks again, but I wonder, if they don't show in/out on any but one, if it really is all that important. If it were, I would think they would show it. Oh, I believe you that it matters - my faith is waning with Swiftec. I already had another -odd- experience with them.

Thanks Techspot for being here,

Well if you happen to come home one day and the hose accidently came off or started to back up water inside the case.
I would just get rid of the water pump system and buy a more credible water brand system.

Thanks MaikuTech for the tip and link. I checked the link, and realize I wasn't very descriptive about my problem. I have 2 GPU cards, a "Republic of Gamers" Rampage II with a Swiftec cooler, and CPU cooler - all with Swiftec's coolers (oh, and the radiator too). In all, there are 12 hose in/out connections - 14 counting the pump.

This box sat for quite some time due to a leak. I finally got off my and cleaned it up, reset the hoses and loaded it up with coolant. I really don't want to add more hardware other than what is in it for I am considering at just having a new system built with my choice of MoBo, GPU and CPU.

I've often seen people say that water-cool is just for show and fans do the job just as well - so if I upgrade, I'll go with the "show" any way :) just to be sure but it will be, as you suggested, a better cooling system.

Thanks for the link it is bookmarked for closer study.

[sidebar] I have a old HP dual-core 4 gig Ram 2.4 Ghz, and Vista and it has never failed me. I can use it to do what Win 10 does, except report everything I do back to Microsoft, Google and other ilkish Stalkers; which I don't feel bad about. The only reason I'm upgrading is to play games... and to have another computer that can last me 12 years instead of 1.

I'll mention this then post over here and make sure you're problem is clear enough to understand.
A guy named ppmguire should be able to pick it up and make sense out of what needs to be hooked and what doesn't.

Also I understood your issue, I linked that corsair water cooler, so you could have different choices to choose from if worse comes to worse.
Heres something interesting to look at, its one of the many reasons I don't do water cooling anything.

Some do it to get a direct handle on heat and OC, others do it to avoid dust dune problem.
I strictly prefer air, really good quality rpm heatsink fans, and artic or tuniq thermal paste grease at 6.99 per bottle at 4grams.
