Which Video card

I am looking at upgrading my video card as I have the option of buying the following video card on the cheap............

ATi 256MB Radeon HD 2600XT
At the moment the video card that I do have is a .........

ATI Radeon Graphics Processor AGP SAPPHIRE Radeon X1550 256MB

My question is....is it worthwhile upgrade to the Radeon 2600XT ... or should I stick to the SAPPHIRE Radeon X1550.

Have you ever considered Nvidia?

They do have pretty good cards to offer now.

EVGA GeForce 9600 GT. Go look that up.

There's no such thing as a GeForce 9600GT for AGP.

Though an nVidia-based GPU would provide better performance, ATI tends to be the only brand that's actually making an attempt to keep the AGP interface alive.

There are versions of the HD2600 and even the HD3850 on AGP.
