hi guys, i build my new pc about a month ago. When Windows XP start it goes strait to the desktop after the Windows XP splash screen. When i came back from a trip i started up my computer and after the splash screen it came to the user account screen. The only option it gave me was Owner and it took me to my desktop. But its wierd because it never did that before! I like it when it took me to my desktop after the splash screen. Does anyone know what happened?

How to remove it
1 Open run (in startmenu)
2 Write msconfig
3 Open boot.ini
4 Mark /noguiboot and push ok
5 restart your computer

/NOGUIBOOT - When this option is specified the VGA video driver responsible for presenting bit mapped graphics during Win2K's boot process is not initialized. The driver is used to display boot progress information, as well as to print the Blue Screen crash screen, so disabling it will disable Win2K's ability to do those things as well. Windows 2000/XP only.
