Hello folks this is my first post so bear with me please.I have a dell inspirion desktop at home,but yesterday the keyboard stopped working.The mouse is working fine,i have re installed the driver disk and everything was connected ok,ie joined the broken chain for the mouse,then added the pass code for the keyboard to work,but keyboard still not working.I have tried a plug and play keyboard but that does not work either,any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

You can try to uninstall then reinstall, I found that worked a lot better.
