Woot! Retweet and sexting enter the dictionary

Other new words in the centenary anniversary of the dictionary are "woot" (used in electronic communication to express elation, enthusiasm, or triumph) and "jeggings" (a cross between leggings and jean).

Yes, but I must confess one thing, I am not a person who keeps himself up-to-date with regard to whats going on in the fashion world, so I had to search for what the heck 'jeggings' mean.

Hot on the heels of Oxford additions, Chambers Dictionary has been updated as well, and amongst the new words included are:

- paywall
- tweet
- quantitative easing (I wonder if the Fed would launch QE3 to mark this occasion )
- man flu
- crowed sourcing
- staycation
- kakistocracy
- Neet
- OMG & BFF
- TARP (must have made lots of bankers really happy )
