Well I tried to start my stationary computer today, but it won't boot. It just stops att that boot screen(Where it says Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Copyright @ 1985-2001 etc.)The three blue dots move a little, stops, and then moves a bit more and so on.
I can get into safe mode, but I didn't find anything wrong, and I didn't do anything special before I shut it down yesterday. Does anyone recognize this?

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Go into safe mode double left click on my computer then right click on your hard drive and select properties and then the tools tab.

Click on check now and tick the box to automatically fix errors.

You will be asked if you want to schedual a check disk to be run on the next startup click yes.

Reboot your system and let the check disk run.

If that doesn`t solve your problem, then maybe a repair of Windows will.

You can find out how to repair Windows HERE just follow the instructions.
