I had the stinkin virus,it was pretty bad, I was sick for a week, but I'm completely better now. No vaccine. So for me, I didn't need the vaccine. My symptoms were moderate enough that I knew to stay home from work, rather than push through it and spread it. Had I been vaccinated, would the symptoms have been so mild that I would have continued working/mingling? Delta, echo, foxtrot, it will be every year now. It's big money, and bigger control.

That may hold for public sites, but its not a consideration for private ones. Evaluations for posts on private sites need to pass a "do we want "this"" question, nothing more. Responsibility is to themselves not contributors.

Exactly and as the CDC proved it's incompetence spreading and promoting "wives tales", "misnomers" and incorrect information with no actual properly calculated data extrapolated from proper experimentation and observation. They censured several doctors around the country that were stating they were clinically wrong in promoting bad advise and so called facts for political referendum.
Well, there is a cure for viruses. I mean, the flu has been completely eradicated. To think, those misinforming doctors of old, that used to say there was no cure for the common cold virus. I mean, we can just vaccinate it all away, and there wont be a delta, zeta, alpha variant the following year. Am I right?

There is ZERO evidence that vaccines are more harmful to you than Covid. ZERO.

You are wrong. There is no cure... Only treatment. If the flu was cured, we wouldn't have a flu shot yearly. Now the Covid will be also a yearly shot aka the flu. Viruses change strings all the time, so in reality they will never really be a cure but a treatment to "try" to stop the virus. And while money is to be made and pumped Covid aint going anywhere anytime soon. Cold weather is coming up. Get ready to hear the North and NorthEast of the US how covid is spiking up again. I wonder why, hmmm cold weather aka flu.
I had covid last year June, was fine... just headache for a week and did lose taste and smell. But after a week everything was good and I was working and working out like nothing again. I did get the J&J shot this year Feb only because I was traveling to Spain. But if it wasn't for the requirement I wouldn't have gotten the vaccine at all. I had done blood work on Feb and I still had antibodies from when I had covid. Also, I work in a hospital daily so what more antibodies do you want.
I see. But we should believe what is said in a fox "news" interview with Mr. Pillow or with Billy Bubba Bovine from "Git'er Done University."
Those things don't get people killed. Shame you needed to be reminded of that.

Yes the problem stems from lack of education on statistics. People don't have any concept of proportion. Like the tit for tat conflation of problems.
Recent example I heard was "Hillary emails" being compared to "GWBush lying about WMDs". BOTH are "problems". One is FAR FAR FAR FAR worse (massive war crime costing trillions and 100s of thousands of INNOCENT lives).
Fact of the matter is vaccines are NOT perfect but they are MASSIVELY better than the problem they are aimed at solving. The risks are NOT anywhere NEAR comparable. People on YouTube are NOT qualified to give hysterical anti-vax rants and flood people with disproportionate crap that endangers millions. If you have concerns, speak to your GP. YouTube is NOT the place for anti-vax hysteria and good riddance.

Vax deaths are public information in MANY countries around the world. It's not hard to validate the quantity of vax related deaths next to covid risk and deaths. This is the thing... vax deaths are not remotely close to the problem. Just because you don't trust the US Govt being fully transparent... well many other Govts aren't nearly as corrupt. The science is settled on vax being far better than covid.

In the current waves, we are seeing HUGE amounts of kids infected and passing infection onto families as well as kids in ICUs in significant quantities. There's absolutely no doubt children are a problem vector for infection especially now a lot of the elderly are double vaccinated. In Victoria, about 32% of all infection is 19 years and under. About 18% below 12 iirc. Is vaccination the answer? The medical authorities are doing the relevant certification testing right now. US due to complete in October from what I've heard. Australia similar.

No, they just have the common sense to tell a recognized medical expert from a kook with a political ax to grind. Letting people who follow the latter have a platform means having more hospitals overflowing with COVID-19 patients. It's as simple as that.

I'm far from a "progressive", but I do understand that smallpox was wiped from the face of the face of the earth by ...(you guessed it)...vaccination. Kidz today don't have to endure those nasty "childhood diseases", that I did, (measles, mumps, & chicken pox), because of.... (wait for it)....vaccination.
Fast forward to today. All of a sudden, "vaccines don't work", and besides, "there's microchips in them" so the "government can track you. Why exactly does the government have to track you with a vaccine? Why should it spend the, money, time and effort to track you, when all it has to do is join Facebook and "friend you"? Or better still, just toss off a subpoena to Google, Amazon, or Twitter, and they can find out what music you listen to, what radical groups you're a part of,, and another to Uber and "door dash", to find out what you had for dinner last night.
If that's not enough, there's always that cell phone you simply can't put down, and its nasty GPI.
So, every body has an opinion, but nobody has any intention of backing it up with money or actions to support it.
For example, the "right to life" set, has absolutely no intention of adopting or supporting these babies they demand should be born.
And the anti-vaxxer set, has absolutely no intention of picking up the tab on the hospital bills they cause, by spreading their nonsense.
So what I suggest, is for them, "to be men about it", and volunteer to pick up the hospital bills of everyone that they talked out of being vaccinated, and pay them. It's called, "having the courage of your convictions".
BTW, the US Constitution only gives the power of not limiting "freedom of speech", to the federal government.A private institution can do whatever the f**k they damned well please..Which includes limiting or permitting (**) what someone can say on their platform
