It’s hard to believe but 2013 is nearly in the record books. To celebrate the occasion, YouTube recently invited some of this year’s most popular video acts to come together and create a special mashup video – a year in review of sorts.
If you’ve kept up with viral videos this year, you’ll likely see many familiar faces. In fact, there are more than 50 cameos in this year's Rewind. Given the fact that 80 percent of all YouTube views come from outside of the US, it comes as little surprise that global phenomenons like Psy and Ylvis are prominently featured in the clip.
