Does UpScrolled impose any censorship?

We only restrict content that violates our community guidelines or broadly accepted legal and ethical standards. This includes content involving illegal activity, hate speech, bullying, harassment, explicit nudity, unlicensed copyrighted material, or anything intended to cause harm.

Does UpScrolled share my data with anybody?
No, not without an absolutely valid reason.
UpScrolled will never share your data with third parties for marketing, profiling, or commercial gain. We only disclose user data as required by Australian law – such as in response to a valid court order or lawful request – and always in accordance with our privacy policy.
We will always comply with the law and only the law – do not share any information with any law enforcement agencies that we have not been compelled to provide.
Does UpScrolled use AI/ML algorithms?
UpScrolled puts you in control of how you see content.
- Following Feed → 100% chronological. Posts appear exactly when they're shared by the people you follow – no reshuffling, no manipulation.
- Discover Feed → A simple, transparent ranking: posts are ordered by likes, comments, and reshares, with a light decay over time so fresh content rises, plus a touch of randomness to ensure every post still has a chance to be seen.
No silent shaping. No black-box AI. Just feeds that are open, fair, and designed to give you real choice.
We're also developing optional discovery features – additional feeds that may use AI to optimize recommendations based on your prior behavior. This is still a work in progress, and will always be opt-in, fair, and transparent. Our commitment is to straightforward, understandable tech that puts users first.
