Google was last year's world’s most influential brand, but now Apple has taken the crown. In a survey of just under 2,000 brand managers, ad executives and academics, various brand names were ranked - and Apple comes out on top.
Ebay was a new entry, coming in at number 9. Other tech brands in the top ten included Nokia, and of course Google, but sadly for Sony they did not even make the top ten. Looks like they have a long way to go to sell their new iPod-like device to the masses, in that case.
Some other brands included in the results were Ikea, Virgin, H&M, Nokia, Al Jazeera, Mini, Puma, Zara, BBC and Audi.
