As we saw when testing with CrystalDiskMark, the OCZ Vertex 450 256GB had no trouble matching the Vector 256GB drive when measuring sequential read performance.
The OCZ Vertex 450 256GB also matched the Vector 256GB in our sequential write test.
Similar to the results we saw in the CrystalDiskMark random 4K-QD32 test, the OCZ Vertex 450 256GB was slower than the Vector 256GB in the 4K-64 thread test.
The OCZ Vertex 450 256GB makes a comeback when measuring 4K-64 thread write performance, as it was able to match the Vector 256GB.
The OCZ Vertex 450 256GB was just a fraction slower than the Vector 256GB when measuring read access time.
Again the OCZ Vertex 450 256GB was slightly slower than the Vector 256GB, this time when measuring write access time.
