Benchmark: 1680x1050

As expected, the GTX 980 delivered the strongest performance with 84fps at 1680x1050, though we didn't expect to see the R9 290X just 2fps slower or the R9 290 beating the GTX 970 by 4fps.

More troubling is the fact that the old HD 7970 GHz Edition was 1fps faster than the GTX 970 while the R9 280X was also faster than the GTX 780 Ti, which just doesn't/shouldn't happen.

Moving past the questionable Nvidia performance, the good news is virtually every GPU tested provided playable performance, with the exception of the HD 7750.
