Benchmarks: Download Performance

The Samsung T1 500GB sustained 390.3MB/s when downloading a single large file – 61% faster than the Patriot Supersonic Magnum 128GB, 108% faster than the Kingston HyperX Max 64GB (another USB 3.0 SSD), and over 300% faster than a traditional 2.5" hard drive.

When downloading our game data the T1 achieved a throughput of 319.8MB/s, outpacing the Patriot Supersonic Magnum 128GB by 41% and the Kingston HyperX Max 64GB by 89% while again topping a standard 2.5" hard drive by over 300%.

The last download test uses our program data and here the Samsung T1 500GB managed 218.4MB/s for 40% more performance than the Patriot Supersonic Magnum 128GB and 44% more than the Kingston HyperX Max 64GB.
