Encoding Performance
The AMD A8-3850 was the fastest processor tested in HandBrake though the i5 2520M was a close second. The CoreHT was considerably faster than the Vision3D as well as our Phenom II X2 560 test system.
The CoreHT darted past the AMD A8-3850 in the x264 HD Benchmark 3.0 with 60.1fps, making it the fastest system tested. When specifically compared to the Vision3D, we found the CoreHT to be 48% faster.
Lastly, we put our systems through TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress and the CoreHT came out on top again, beating the AMD A8-3850 by almost two full minutes and the Asrock Vision 3D by more than five minutes.
