17" lcd monitor

im looking for a 17 lcd monitor.. any suggestions?? and my budget is no more than $300, $250 if possible. now i have two choices:

The Samsung with 12ms would be better for gamers. And it has a higher contrast ratio.

You want 20ms or less, 17" or bigger, that's about it. Ah, one more thing: DVI input if possible. That's digital. RGB/VGA is analog same as the CRT monitor.

sryy.. but what is DVI input??...
so out of those 2 u pick samsung better??

Yes, the Samsung is better, but it still doesn't have DVI (digital video input) in addition to VGA/RGB.
