Hi, i'm new here,
But as of last night i wasn't able to get my rig to boot, after it just shut down while i was playing stalker.
Specs are:
E6750 Oc'd to 3.2ghz
BFG 8800GTS (640mb)
Asus P5K motherboard
4gb of OCZ ddr2 800 ram
600watt OCZ psu (+12v at 18A)
Sound Blaster - Fatal1ty sound card
WD 160hdd and 300hd
Vista Ultimate (Sp1) 64bit /Xp pro (Sp2) in dual boot.
This all worked nicely until last night, then it just shut down as if someone cut out the power and wouldn't boot after that. I've got it too boot it since, but i had to remove the 8800gts and put in the old X800, the computer over all is way slower than usual. If I put the 8800gts in the pci-e slot instead of the x800 it will attempt to start the machine, the fans on the cpu as well as the case fans will do a quick 1 second spin and then stop.
