I've recently been building an new computer. Everything worked fine until I put in my graphics card(GeForce 8800 GTS). Then no display appeared. When I took it out everything was fine. Somebody told me it's because my intergrated chipset is still functioning. Is this it? If so, how do I disable it. I looked around in the BIOS and it gives me an option to select the PCI-E card but no option to disable the onboard one. My motherboard is a DG965WH, by the way.

You may have the incorrect driver. What do you see in the Device Manager. Any yellow or red flags?
You can test this by boot to safe mode. If you get a screen in safe mode, though it be low resolutions, then your video card probably works, but has the incorrect driver. If you get nothing, the problem is elsewhere.

No, no image appears period. I noticed something though, the drivers for my onboard chipset are still installed. Do I have to remove them?

That will definitely help in the diagnosis... Remove or disable what is installed.

Thanks for the update.
