Access hidden shares from another pc

Im using a laptop, and want to be able to access Administrative shares on my desktop pc via my LAN. I managed to get to a stage where I type in "\\comp. name\c$", but it asks me for a password.
but the problem is that the account im trying to access doesnt use a password, so basically I get stuck at the password screen.

is there anyway to access it, or do I have to make a shared folder (which is something I dont want to do.)

A solution may be simply to add a password to the guest account on \\family

Or just type in the password field

need to log in as admin or allow guest admin rights and thats not a good thing
what ever you are trying to share folders or files you need to make the sharing and security setup on that machine then just log in using admin name and password

i decide there was too much hassle in gaining access to admin shares, so i set up a shared folder. thanks for the help anyway.
