AMD RDNA 5 GPUs may launch after Nvidia's RTX 60 series in late 2027

You know that the discussion is about discreet cards.
That may be, but they are making money on volume sales for consoles. Of course, I would like to see AMD better compete in the discreet space, but AMD needs money to burn on R&D to do better, so long as they don't make Bulldozer/Piledriver uArch or badly implemented ray tracing and upscaling mistakes. AMD is contending with both Intel and Nvidia, not the easiest position to be in. Furthermore, AMD has gone from nearly bankrupt (thanks to acquisition of ATi and lousy CPU uArch as mentioned above) to closing in on 50% market share competing with Intel. Right now, tech companies are chasing the billions being thrown at AI buy other tech companies, and I can't blame them for neglecting the discreet space. We gamers don't have deep pockets. However, the 9700 cards are strong mid-range performers and shored up multiple shortcomings of previous generations of AMD GPUs. Hopefully they reinvest in discreet GPUs as the 9700 feels like a 5700 series before we get flagship GPUs again post 5700 series.
