AMD X870 Flagship Roundup: Zen 5 Motherboards Are Here

PCIe SSD useless? Transferring few hundred gigabytes with SATA SSD is painfully slow compared against same thing with PCIe SSD.
Talking about actual PCIEX SSDs not M.2 SSDs.

I use nothing but M.2 NVME SSD's and did for years. With SATA ports disabled.

Why do you need more than 24 PCIe 5.0 lanes? 28 if you disable USB 4.

Multi GPU died years ago. PCIe SSD? Useless for most.
I don't use multiple GPUs, I use lots of M.2 NVMe storage (currently have 7 drives and counting), dual 10 Gig network connections, SDI capture card, etc. I use my system for video editing, AI work and development. It's great to have the option and ability to add internally 4 more 5.0x16 (4x4x4x4) expansion cards as well as utilize thunderbolt externally. Massive upgrade for me in being able to run at full speed. I maxed my older Threadripper 2950X out with expansion slots and lanes, hence the upgrade.
