thats too bad. if the guy you repair the laptop for is the legal owner you or him/her could call dell and let them give you a masterpassword. if your friend is not the legal owner or can't proof it you have 3 choices...
- wait for the guys here (rustham or predator25)
- go to the website mentioned in the other thread and check the shorting documentation (maybe your model is included there)
- go to ebay or spunlock.xxx (not sure) and buy a password
