Aspire Boot Problem

I've laptop Acer Aspire 3690
the problem is many times when I turn it on it shows the Acer logo with progress bar then a blank screen and thats it..... no windows is loaded. I push power button turning it off then I do this:

turn it on and of many times or give it a shake

I updated motherboard bios but no change.

It is annoying esp in the morning when you have no time for blackouts.

You are going to have to take it to a laptop specialist I'm afraid, that's a hardware fault that needs to be fixed by a professional.

If you have access to bios, just edit the boot order to make the CD-rom boot first, then install windows again. I think, the one problem could be, that mbr is corrupted or something...

Sounds like a hardware problem to me as well. I hope that does not happen with my new aspire 3680.

I updated the bios software from a new one. so far so good
